ISO 9001:2008 AWARENESS PROGRAMME ORGANISED BY GSIA

GSIA organized an “ISO 9001:2008 Awareness Programme” for Micro and Small Industries on 21st January 2011 at Hotel The Crown Goa ,Jose Falcao Road, Panaji Goa.

Mr. Nikhil Desai, MD, GHRSSIDC was the Chief Guest at the inaugural session.

The programme was conducted by Mr. Manu Anand and Ms. Candie Anand, Directors of Alpha Mindz Trainers and Consultants Pvt. Ltd. It was well attended by Micro/Small Enterprises (MSEs), specially the suppliers under Rate Contract of GHRSSIDC.

The objective of the programme was to bring an awareness amongst the MSEs regarding the advantages of ISO Certification, the procedures and documentation required to obtain ISO. The programme was followed by an interactive session.

At the end of the programme participants appreciated the contents and the presentation of the programme. Also many of the MSEs expressed their willingness to obtain ISO Certification.
